EPA Testing

In 1973, Congress passed the Clean Air Act (CAA) to control dangerous pollutants and protect human health and the environment. The CAA gives the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) the authority to regulate the emission of hazardous pollutants such as particle pollution, ground-level ozone, carbon monoxide, sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, lead, and many others.

Unfortunately, these sort of pollutants are high-frequency byproducts in the power industry, oil and gas refining, pipeline transmissions and storage, chemical manufacturing, ethanol production facilities, and the textile industry.

We provide accurate and efficient EPA compliance air emissions testing to make sure that you’re staying within the EPA’s regulated limit. We perform stack testing, a process involves taking a sample from a single location at your facility during peak operating time. These source samples allow us to determine the emission rate, concentration, and/or parameter of a particular regulated polluted.

EPA compliance testing is a complicated business; the processes required vary across facilities and targeted pollutants. Erthwrks has the experience and the knowledge required to determine what tests you need to ensure your operations are EPA approved and can continue with peace of mind.
